Shodement taps MTV presenter to launch digital competition
Sponsored by SG Unite, 3Flow Studios and IntroNation, the Shodement platform is in Search of the “Artist of The Year” and wants to Support them with the Global 12 challenge competition.
Renowned UK based company Shodement has launched the Global 12 Challenge competition with the mission to find exciting new artists from countries worldwide and aims to support 12 of them in the process.
The Global 12 Challenge contest is part of the Global 12 Festival which is a music festival held annually in London bringing the sounds of Summer to the capital and performers and DJs together from around the world, attracting thousands of fans every year.
The winner of this competition will be awarded and crowned Shodement’s “Artist of the Year” title, and receive services such as consultancy, promotion, and partnerships with SG Unite, 3Flow studios and IntroNation.
Speaking about this initiative, the MD Shodement Mr. Jay Lamusica confirmed; “We’re very excited to be partnering with 3Flow Studios, IntroNation, and SG Unite for the Global 12 Challenge. The Global 12 challenge is like a digital X factor for artists around the world, and very overwhelmed with the amazing pool of talent coming through. The industry is going through tough times and it is our pleasure to continue to create opportunities for new exciting artists worldwide. I would also urge exciting independent artists to join the Shodement app. We’re constantly looking at ways to help the gems of the future.”
The official launch was held on 3rd November 2020 by former MTV presenter Daisie Belle. The deadline to submit applications for artists is 15th December 2020. There will be basically 2 rounds to judge the performance of artists from around the world going head to head with digital live performances to be crowned as Global “Artist of the Year”. Fans will vote for their favorite artists leading up towards each other’s show. The artists with the most points will qualify for the final round which will be held on 1st March 2021.
The winner of this competition will be announced on 1st April 2021 and will be honored with the crown of Artist of the Year and lots of other amazing prizes.
